Client: Macmillan Cancer Support
Project: Exhibition design
To showcase the breadth of cancer research that Macmillan produces, I led on the design and art direction of their first ever Evidence Research Showcase.
The project included curating and designing a one-day exhibition, featuring posters, experiential installations, and custom display units exploring different perspectives on the cancer journey.
The project focused heavily on telling the story of three people affected by cancer, by utilising photography with personal quotes narrating their experience. Both artwork and displays were designed to give these stories central stage.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors could walk through immersive installations which highlighted the different stages of the cancer journey. I've designed these to give an emotional side to the exhibition and to complement the already existing infographic posters.
